Our MPS Panel Diagnostic Sampling Kit, provides tools and instructions for the collection and return of the Dried Blood Spot (DBS) card used in our diagnostic services.

The Sampling Kit includes:

• Dried Blood Spot (DBS) card
• Informed Consent Form (ICF)
• Envelope for the return of the Sampling Kit (including ICF and DBS card) to ARCHIMEDlife Laboratories
• Detailed blood sampling instructions using the DBS card and other relevant information

Dried Blood Spot (DBS) cards are a fast and easy method of collection blood samples. This simple and minimally invasive technique supplies enough sample for biochemical testing and in most cases genetic confirmation testing as well.

Each Dried Blood Spot card shows an individual serial number (SN; referred to as DBS-ID) for its identification. The DBS-ID is also relevant for use in the ARCHIMEDlife WEBPORTAL. To receive test results fast, each patient and his / her respective DBS-ID can be registered in the WEBPORTAL. As soon as results are available, we will send an automatic E-Mail notification.
