A present report demonstrated the improvement of motor skills in infants with late-onset SMA after the application of the medicinal product Nusinersen (arznei-news.de). In contrary, the control group showed a progressive course of disease. These preliminary results provide hope, that even a delayed therapeutic intervention is effective.
