The diagnostic service for SMA can be ordered directly from ARCHIMEDlife for € 50 and includes quantitation of SMN1 copy number.

The SMA Diagnostic Sampling Kit contains:

  • Dried Blood Spot (DBS) card 
  • Informed Consent Form (ICF)
  • Envelope for the return of the Sampling Kit (including ICF and DBS card) to ARCHIMEDlife Laboratories
  • Detailed instructions for blood sampling with a DBS card and other relevant information
